On December 2, the Ibiza Yacht Club’s Sailing Gala was held at the Pereyra Theatre, an event that not only recognized the season’s top athletes but also formed part of the club’s centenary celebrations and highlighted its significant contribution to the promotion of sailing and maritime sports in Ibiza.

During the gala, initiatives such as A Sea of Possibilities and Youth for the Sea were recognized, alongside tributes to notable figures such as Joan Riera Villegas, a passionate sailor and respected local figure. Awards were also presented to the winners of the Cruiser Class regattas and to several outstanding sailors from the island.

The event also acknowledged the support of the partner companies that have accompanied the club throughout this significant chapter in its history. Among them, JetService Ibiza was recognized for its commitment to sport and sailing in Ibiza, as part of the group of organizations honored during the ceremony.
